Online HelpWhen attempting to clean your computer of infection, you may come across a particular virus or spyware application that simply won't die. All of the major anti-virus companies have support sites where you can download removal tools for specific threats. Links are provided below. Additionally, if your computer is displaying some sort of mysterious process box, or your anti-virus or spyware scanners report an infection that they cannot remove, there is another simple solution. Simply Googling the term in a search box, or entering the term in a Google search window, will give you links to web sites that will tell you about the process or issue, let you know if it is a good process or bad process, and tell you how to fix the problem.

Some spyware will disable the popular anti-virus and spyware programs. Some will block your access to security web sites so you cannot look for assistance or download updates or removal tools. The links below will take you to specific removal instructions for the following malware. This list is hardly comprehensive, but I will be adding to it as I discover new issues.
